Building Balance and Brotherhood Together

Jan 18

There has been much chatter within the gym walls of this project, which Will,  Martin, and I have been planning for some time.   It comes at a time that is needed for men. As many of you know or do not yet know, we men have difficulty seeking help or advice about life or the stress we encounter daily. We wanted to create a space where men could connect and build strong friendships and bonds to allow an open discussion when they were ready to seek advice or support. We decided that a monthly (to start) meeting that would consist of some modality of movement (work the stress out), either lifting weights, breath and exposure, yoga, jiu-jitsu, and a time after for anyone interested in hanging out after to create a stronger community within the men of Santa Fe. The meet-ups would last two hours, and you are not required to stay that long or even talk about what’s on your mind.  It would be an excellent opportunity for most to come in, lift, move, and get the stress out of your mind and body.

If you’re interested, please read below and fill out this questionnaire so we can get to know you a bit more before you visit the gym. If you’re not, please hit the UNSUBSCRIBE button below to be removed from our email list.

This is a free event for men, and we will meet up on Sunday, February 2nd, from 4-6 pm.

I hope to see you there, gentlemen.

Our vision is:

The Movement of Brotherhood is about building a stronger, more balanced, and deeply connected community of men. It is a space where growth is not only a personal journey but a shared one, fostering authenticity, strength, and a way of life centered on love and empowerment.

Mission Statement for Movement of Brotherhood

At Movement of Brotherhood, our mission is to create a safe and supportive space for men to connect, share, and grow together. We are dedicated to building a community that fosters meaningful relationships, open communication, and mutual witnessing, breaking the societal norms that often limit vulnerability and connection among men.

We aim to equip men with the tools for improved mental, emotional, and physical well-being, enabling them to find greater balance in their relationships, work, and personal lives. By encouraging each man to embrace a self-loving and empowered way of being, we seek to cultivate a stronger, more authentic quality of life that positively impacts individuals and their communities.

Our foundation is rooted in the belief that while no one else is responsible for fulfilling our adult needs, we are not alone in this journey. Together, we can rise, support one another, and redefine what it means to live as strong, compassionate men.

Core Commitments:

Safe Environment: We maintain a drug- and alcohol-free space.

Confidentiality: All members are bound by a non-disclosure agreement to protect the integrity of our discussions.
